A California medical-device company will open a distribution facility and customer-support center in Huntersville, bringing 12 to 25 jobs to the area over the next 18 months. Kyphon Inc., which develops and markets medical products to restore and preserve spinal function and reduce low back pain, has purchased a 19,200-square-foot building at the NorthCross Business Campus for its local operations.
