Yahoo Finance -- Brinker International, Inc. (NYSE: EAT - News) was recently selected as the Corporate Rising Star Award recipient at the Women’s Business Council Southwest Parade of Stars. The award is given annually to a corporation who, through their active participation, has grown their Supplier Diversity program and made strides in utilizing Women Business Enterprises (WBEs). Only companies with formal Supplier Diversity programs implemented since 2006 are eligible. Previous winners include Merrill Lynch, Dallas-Ft. Worth International Airport and last year’s winner, Dell Inc.
