(NYSE: BPI) announced that the 11th Annual Bridgepoint Education Golf Invitational will be held on Monday, October 15, at the Fairbanks Ranch Country Club in Rancho Santa Fe, Calif. All proceeds will be donated to Rady Children’s Hospital. More than $47,000 was raised during last year’s event.
“Bridgepoint Education is proud to support Rady Children’s Hospital year after year as they provide not just excellent care, but also a beacon of hope to San Diego children suffering from illness,” said Andrew Clark, chief executive officer at Bridgepoint Education. “We’ve raised more than $195,000 for Rady Children’s over the last 10 years and we’re looking forward to surpassing the $200,000 mark this year.” Established in 1954, Rady Children’s Hospital is a medical facility in San Diego that provides services to some of the most vulnerable members of the community. It is San Diego County’s only hospital dedicated exclusively to pediatric care. In 2018 alone, the hospital has provided care to more than 227,000 children and performed more than 20,000 pediatric surgeries.
