The brain waves of teenagers with two subtypes of ADHD differ from each other and from teens who do not have the condition, EEG scans show. When preparing to perform a computer task, the researchers found that the teens with the type whose primary symptom is inattentiveness exhibited different brain-wave patterns from those whose symptoms include hyperactivity and impulsivity.
