Boston Scientific Corp. is one of hundreds of U.S. companies that have been hit by a huge China-based corporate espionage ring, according to a report by Bloomberg.
One official quoted by Bloomberg said the breadth of the attacks amounts to “stealing entire industries.”
It’s not clear what information, if any, may have been compromised at the 760 companies hit in the attacks, Bloomberg reported.
Boston Scientific (NYSE: BSX) is based in Natick, Mass., and has significant medical device manufacturing facilities in Arden Hills and Maple Grove.
