Biotechs in Southern California Have a New Marketing Expert Called Dudnyk

January 17, 2012, Carlsbad, CA/Horsham, PA – Dudnyk, in response to an unmet need among the nearly 1,000 biotech companies in southern California, announced today that it has opened an office in Carlsbad, a short drive from San Diego. Scott Greisler, who has been named SVP, General Manager, has relocated from the agency’s Philadelphia headquarters to lead the operational management of the new, full-service office.

“Commercial development teams in biotech companies are facing increasing pressure,” Greisler said. “Because companies are leaner than ever, they often lack the full power of pharma marketing departments in terms of planning, strategy, or brand development. By setting up shop in close proximity to the companies who need us most, Dudnyk will be in the best position to offer expertise and work in partnership with biotech companies to bring their revolutionary brands to successful commercial launch.”

Dudnyk is highly respected for its expertise in branding, having launched seven commercial products in five years for biotech clients. The agency’s laser focus on the biotech audience has earned it a depth of understanding that is unparalleled among other agencies. As a result, Dudnyk is frequently called upon to act as the marketing arm for commercial brand teams.

“We help biotech clients bring their brands to launch and then assist them to successfully manage the explosive growth that follows,” said Frank X. Powers, President of Dudnyk. “We are confident this experience will resonate with the biotech community in southern California.”

Dudnyk has several clients in California, but moving closer to provide even better service is only part of the expansion story. “This move extends our physical footprint, but even more, we are excited about the opportunity to have a positive impact on the southern California biotech community,” Powers said. “This region is poised to be one of the hottest growth areas in the country for biotech for the next five years. We are excited to be part of that movement.”
