BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BioSurplus announced today that Scott Meltzer has joined the company’s sales team in the position of director, specialized sales. He will be working from the BioSurplus Boston megastore and will focus on high-end, pre-owned lab equipment sales to local, national, and international customers. Prior to joining BioSurplus, Meltzer was owner and president of Stoughton, Mass.-based Laboratory Acquisition Services, where he provided asset management services consisting of acquisition, disposition and equipment management services to major research facilities, biotechs, hospitals and universities locally in New England and on a national level. Among the high-end analytical equipment he specializes in are autoclaves, bioreactors, fermentation units, Turn-Key analyzers, GC-GCMS systems, mass specs, HPLC systems, ICP-MS systems along with general laboratory and scientific instrumentation.
