Each NucliSENS® ASR contains a primer/probe mix designed for individual pathogen amplification and detection using bioMérieux’s proprietary Nucleic Acid Sequence-based Amplification (NASBA®) combined with molecular beacon technology. CLIA high-complexity laboratories can incorporate these quality reagents into in-house developed molecular-based tests for these important atypical bacterial pneumonia pathogens.
