EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT: BioFlorida’s 13th Annual Celebration of Biotechnology

ALACHUA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The community is invited to attend the 13th Annual Celebration of Biotechnology on Thursday, May 12th, from 9:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., at RTI Surgical in Progress Park, Alachua, Fla.
ABOUT: The Celebration of Biotechnology is an outdoor event showcasing the life sciences community in the region and throughout Florida. Now, in its 13th year and hosted by RTI Surgical and UF Sid Martin Biotech Institute, the Celebration continues to attract more than 80 exhibitors and 500 professionals. The event offers a bus tour of Progress Park which highlights several local biotech companies, informative exhibits and great networking opportunities.
WHO: Hundreds of industry professionals from emerging and established life sciences companies; universities and research institutions; economic development agencies, investment networks and firms, and supporting organizations attend the Celebration of Biotechnology. The event’s atmosphere is designed to encourage conversations and connections that will help attendees facilitate collaborations and explore potential business development opportunities.
