WELLESLEY, Mass., June 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- BioBridges, a leading clinical contract consulting company, is so proud to have joined the sponsorship of the second annual Battle of the Biotech Bands. BoBB is a fun, community-driven, networking event with fundraising efforts supporting the charitable foundation affiliated with each biotech band.
The event brought together three bands: BAD IDEA from Merrimack Pharmaceuticals, AURAL GAVAGE from Momenta Pharmaceuticals and MOLECULAR GROOVE from PerkinElmer. With 700 in attendance and over $60,000 raised, the top honor went to BAD IDEA awarding $30,000 to their charity Dream Day of Cape Cod. AURAL GAVAGE and MOLECULAR GROOVE each earned $15K for their respective charities: the Jolane Solomon Research Fund at Boston College and The American Cancer Society.
“As a long-term client, we were so proud to be a sponsor and support Merrimack Pharmaceuticals,” said Jason Falchuk, managing partner of BioBridges. “It was truly an amazing evening of celebration with a purpose.
