PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 8, 2006--Beijing Med-Pharm Corporation (Pink Sheets:BJGP.PK) today announced that its previously filed Registration Statement on Form S-1 relating to 5,438,809 shares of its common stock, par value $0.001 per share, including 1,238,828 shares issuable upon the exercise of warrants, was declared effective by the Securities and Exchange Commission on February 8, 2006. All of the shares were registered on behalf of certain selling stockholders that purchased their shares in a private placement in October 2005. Beijing Med-Pharm Corporation will not receive any of the proceeds from the sale of common stock by the selling stockholders.
