WHAT: A Conversation About Neurodegenerative Diseases Hosted By Carol Van Andel
Van Andel Institute and Carol Van Andel host the first annual A Conversation About Breast Neurodegenerative Diseases luncheon on Wednesday, November 12, 2014. The event provides those living with neurodegenerative diseases and caregivers the opportunity to learn about diseases such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's from leading experts in biomedical research.

Speakers include Carol Van Andel, Dr. Patrik Brundin, Van Andel Research Institute's (VARI) associate director of research and head of the Laboratory of Translational Parkinson's Disease Research, Dr. Darren Moore, head of VARI's Laboratory of Molecular Neurodegeneration, Dr. Jiyan Ma, head of VARI's Laboratory of Prion Mechanisms in Neurodegeneration and Dr. Kevin Foley, associate professor in the Departments of Family Medicine and Internal Medicine and head of the Geriatrics and Gerontology Division in the College of Human Medicine at Michigan State University.
