The group has been successful in winning a tender with the Queen Mary Hospital, London, for the installation of overhead hoists. This equipment is essential in all hospitals and represents an opportunity to sell an increasingly diversified range of specialist products within its existing client base. Until recently, the main type of equipment it has supplied to hospitals and nursing homes has been pressure relieving mattress and cushion systems. During the last year it has expanded its range of medical equipment products to include beds, and hoists, as well as providing a repairs service to hospitals, enabling it to repair and replace its competitors' equipment.
