Scott is an experienced Chief Executive with expertise in growing businesses, venture finance, management team development, strategic partnering, as well as mergers and acquisitions.
The appointment of Mr. Painter is in correlation with the development and deployment of the company’s recently announced addition of TransBioTec’s transdermal alcohol sensing technology called ‘SOBR’. The addition of this technology to TransBioTec’s intellectual property portfolio and Mr. Painter’s impressive bottom line success in raising capital and proven track record in business growth is determined to be a strategy for success. The Board of Directors officially appointed Mr. Painter on May 1, 2012 with the execution of a resolution.
About Scott Painter
Mr. Painter started his career after college in the insurance industry by taking over the general agency in Seattle, Washington for Sun Life of Canada (10th largest life insurance company in the world). At that time, the Seattle agency was ranked 52nd out of Sun Life’s 55 worldwide agencies. Five years later, Mr. Painter had grown the agency to a ranking of fourth in their worldwide agency system.
He then launched his career as an independent entrepreneur by creating Painter Financial Group, Ltd., a retail broker/dealer, which he grew as CEO and sole shareholder from a start-up to 50 offices nationally, 485 brokers, and $80 million in sales at which time he sold the Company to UK’s Bekhor International. Scott then co-founded and served as Managing Partner at Chanen Painter & Company, Ltd., a boutique investment bank located in Seattle, Washington. During Scott’s tenure, Chanen Painter managed financings for a wide variety of technology enterprises and other businesses - a number of which today trade on the NASDAQ exchange.
As CEO of Bogart Golf, a retail indoor golf training firm, he led the Company in raising venture capital, building out a management team, opening 16 training centers in four states (Washington, Colorado, Texas, and Georgia), and managing the firm to profitability in 22 months.
Mr. Painter next joined two local Seattle people to help commercialize architecture for networking and voice over Internet. He became Chairman and CEO, helping this company create a business strategy, recruit management, and raise $5 million to build out its infrastructure and establish its sales/revenue stream.
