October 1, 2012 (Washington, D.C.) – Ilumi Sciences soon will enter the U.S. market by opening a manufacturing plant in Northern Virginia, the result of a deal completed by an executive with The Ezra Company.
One of the leading commercial real estate firms in the nation that exclusively represents tenants, The Washington, D.C.-based Ezra Company announces today that it has negotiated on behalf of Ilumi Sciences in its purchase of a 4,886-square-foot space at 4150 Lafayette Center Drive in Chantilly.
In this transaction, The Ezra Company Senior Vice President David Kinney represented Ilumi Sciences, which is an affiliate of a Taiwan-based company.
About eight to 10 people will work in this new space, where Ilumi Sciences will manufacture and ship medical-dental products. The facility, which will take between three and four months to build out, includes approximately 1,600 square feet of office space, as well as manufacturing and warehouse capabilities.
Norfolk, Va.-based Robinson Development Group sold the space at 4150 Lafayette Center Drive to Ilumi Sciences, which limited its search primarily to the Chantilly area’s Route 28 Corridor.
