Suheil J. Muasher, MD, FACOG, Appointed Associate Professor At Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine

FAIRFAX, Va., April 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Suheil J. Muasher, MD, FACOG, Medical Director of The Muasher Center for Fertility and IVF has been appointed Associate Professor in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. In this role, Dr. Muasher, an internationally known fertility expert, will teach and guide residents and reproductive endocrinology fellows in the art and science of reproductive medicine and infertility through tutorial lectures and participation in academic and teaching meetings. “We are thrilled to have Dr. Muasher in our Reproductive Endocrinology division as a part-time faculty and very much appreciate his academic contribution to our specialty. Dr. Muasher is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. As an infertility specialist, he held the positions of Director of the In Vitro Fertilization Program (1988- 2000) and the Director of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (1998-2000) at the prestigious Georgeanna and Howard Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine. While at the Jones Institute, Dr. Muasher collaborated and conducted breakthrough research that led to improved IVF stimulation protocols, recognition of the importance of cycle day 3 FSH levels for prediction of ovarian reserve, intracytoplasmic sperm injection, preimplantation genetic diagnosis and numerous other advances.
