Somnia Names Michael Klein As Director Of Corporate Human Resources

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y., Sept. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Somnia, Inc., North America’s leading provider of office-based and ambulatory anesthesia services, today announced the appointment of Michael Klein of New City, New York as Director of Corporate Human Resources. Klein will have overall responsibility to provide the human resources support and guidance to better serve the needs of all Somnia physicians and administrative employees.

Included in that accountability will be the company’s employment administration, recruitment and candidate selection, and it’s benefit and liability management. Additionally, Mr. Klein will manage the government compliance process, the performance management, and the professional training and development processes.

Mr. Klein brings over 29 years of human resources experience to Somnia, including managing all aspects of employee relations and human resources activities for a variety of companies in the healthcare and insurance industries. Most recently, Mr. Klein served as Vice President of Human Resources for Executive Health Exams International, a national provider of preventive health services. In this role, he was instrumental in developing corporate policy and procedures for compliance with regulations; and served as a consultant to senior management, diagnosing and recommending solutions that impacted management development, employee relations, retention and organizational structure. Mr. Klein is a graduate of Rutgers University in New Jersey, and is a national member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the American Management Association.
