TAMPA, Fla. – The Society for Clinical Data Management will share practices for improving data quality through teamwork at the Association of Clinical Research Professionals Global Conference, April 23-27.
Jonathan Andrus, CCDM, a past chair of SCDM, will lead the preconference workshop, “Data Manager and CRA Collaboration in an eClinical Environment - Working Together for Quality Data” on Friday, April 23.
The session will focus on the natural, yet often overlooked, opportunities for cooperation between these two roles.
“These are data management and clinical research associate practices that, when done in effective collaboration, help to avoid stepping on each others toes and result in better study start, conduct and closeout processes,” said Andrus, vice president, data and study operations, at BioClinica. “It is exciting to join ACRP at its Global Conference and share the ways data managers and clinical research associates can collaborate to improve clinical trial data.”
SCDM will also exhibit at the conference, offering information on education and professional development programs including the Certified Clinical Data Manager credential, Good Clinical Data Management Practices, e-learning opportunities and the SCDM Annual Conference.
SCDM will be located in Booth 514.
