Rayner has announced that Martin Jamieson is to become its next chief executive officer (CEO), effective from May 2012. Mr Jamieson is the former managing director of Smiths Medical International and has a successful track record in the medical technology sector, as well as being a non-executive director of Medway Hospital Trust. As leader of the Sussex-based organisation, the new CEO will be tasked with helping the company manage the transition as it relocates its manufacturing facility and offices from Hove to Worthing.
