AUSTIN, Texas, Feb 17, 2012 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Xenex Healthcare Services, the world leader in room disinfection systems for healthcare facilities, today announced Roy M. Martin, Jr. has joined the company as Executive Chairman and Morris Miller has been named Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
As CEO, Miller will assume responsibility for Xenex’s overall business strategy and oversight of day-to-day operations. As Executive Chairman, Martin will advise Miller and the company on corporate and organizational strategy. Martin will also work with the company’s management team and assist Miller in executive engagement with customers and partners.

Previously, Miller was co-founder and president/CEO of Rackspace Hosting, which now has more than 160,000 customers and over $780 million in annual revenue. Prior to his involvement with Rackspace, Miller started Curtis Hill Publishing, a legal publishing firm that was the first to publish Texas case law on CD-ROM. Early in his career Miller was an attorney at Matthews & Branscomb, now part of Cox Smith, San Antonio’s oldest and largest law firm. He is an alumnus of Phillips Exeter Academy, The University of Texas at Austin and The Southern Methodist University School of Law.
Executive Chairman Roy Martin has more than 25 years of experience serving the information services and technology industry in executive leadership positions. He is managing director of WELM Ventures, LLC, an investment and strategic consulting firm based in Minneapolis, Minn. He served as president and CEO of Thomson Reuters Tax & Accounting, a software, services and information company serving the global corporate tax market, from 2005 -- 2011, where he led the company’s explosive growth, doubling its size to $1.1 billion in revenues with over 5,000 employees in ten countries. Prior to this, Martin was president and CEO of Dialog Corporation (a subsidiary of Thomson Reuters), an online news, financial and STM (scientific, technical and medical) information company serving the corporate market, from 2000 -- 2004 where he guided the company’s operations in 29 countries worldwide.
