Molina Healthcare, Inc. (NYSE:MOH) today announced that, effective October 1, 2004, its subsidiary Molina Healthcare of Michigan, Inc. closed on the purchase of the Medicaid contracts from the rehabilitator of The Wellness Plan of Michigan. With the completion of the transaction, approximately 73,000 Medicaid members previously served by The Wellness Plan joined Molina Healthcare of Michigan.
