Mike Raymond Named Vice President Of CSC’s Federal Healthcare Organization

EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Aug. 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Computer Sciences Corporation announced today that Mike Raymond has been named vice president of CSC's Federal Healthcare organization. In this new position, Raymond will be responsible for managing all of CSC's current federal healthcare contracts and the development of new business opportunities.

Client agencies served by Raymond's organization include: the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC); the Veterans Administration; the Department of Labor; and the Department of Defense healthcare system.

Raymond joined CSC in 1978 and spent many years in management positions supporting CSC's work for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). In 1995, he took over management of CSC's first contract with the Health Care Financing Administration, now known as CMS. Under his leadership, CSC expanded its healthcare business at CMS, NIH and CDC. Today, CSC is recognized as a leading provider of technology and program support services within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
