Lumicell Diagnostics, a Waltham, MA-based developer of a device enabling doctors to check tumor sites for remaining cancer cells after surgeries, has brought in $2.7 million in equity-based funding, an SEC filing shows. Waltham-based Kodiak Venture Partners lists Lumicell as one of its portfolio companies on its website. The new funding comes from four investors, according to the SEC document.
