Lavi brings to Oncology Metrics more than 25 years of experience in the electronics, software and databases industries, 12 of which have been in oncology-specific information and software systems. Most recently, he was the Vice President of Informatics for P4 Healthcare. Previously, he was Vice President of Data and Information Solutions at International Oncology Network (ION). His role at ION was to architect a data repository and market data mining services to pharmaceutical companies. He also set up the ability to provide practice management and benchmarking services through the repository. In addition to the repository, he also established ION’s market research capabilities to create syndicated reports for the pharmaceutical and financial industries. He is credited with developing and delivering a best-of-class, pharmacoeconomic analysis, software tool for oncology practices, and an online, interactive, case study tool for pharmaceutical companies. Lavi has also co-founded or been part of the co-founding team of six start-up companies, including, Vital Software, the first oncology-specific medical record software company.

Cure Pace is a national network of community-based oncology practices that gather serum, plasma, whole blood and bone marrow specimens. Cure Pace has available for immediate delivery thousands of samples of frozen serum for most cancer diagnoses. Oncology Metrics can also provide prospective custom collection of serum, plasma, whole blood and bone marrow specimens.
Oncology Metrics collects specimens and corresponding longitudinal electronic medical record information for research and drug development organizations. All specimens are donated by the patient, are fully consented, include a patient’s longitudinal electronic medical record and are collected under Investigational Review Board (IRB) approved research protocols. Oncology Metrics reimburses Cure Pace Members for the costs associated to collect specimens and the corresponding longitudinal electronic medical records.
