AUDUBON, Pa., Jan. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Glenn Kenney has been named Vice President, Strategy and Corporate Development at Globus Medical, Inc. The announcement was made by Chief Executive Officer David Paul.
In his newly created position, Kenney will oversee Surgeon Relations, Basic and Applied Research, Engineering Services, and National Accounts at Globus Medical, which has rapidly become one of the ten largest spinal implant manufacturers in the U.S. As a member of the executive team, Kenney will be significantly involved in setting corporate objectives, and ensuring that the company's overall business goals are achieved worldwide.

Prior to joining Globus, Kenney served as President of Teleflex Fluid Systems, a business unit of Teleflex, Inc. - a $2.5 billion global company conducting business in the commercial, medical, and aerospace markets. Earlier in his career, Kenney was a consultant with McKinsey and Company, and has held senior management positions at various multi-billion dollar organizations, where his responsibilities included strategic planning and business development. Kenney began his career in the U.S. Navy as a Lieutenant Commander, first on the USS Sturgeon, and later in the Office of Naval Intelligence.
Kenney earned his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a Master's Degree in Nuclear Engineering from the Naval Nuclear Power School in Orlando, Florida, and an MBA Degree from the Harvard Business School.
