(BUSINESS WIRE)--Concert Pharmaceuticals, Inc. announced today the appointment of James E. Shipley, M.D., as its Chief Medical Officer. In this newly created position, Dr. Shipley will have responsibility for Concert’s clinical research, clinical operations, regulatory affairs, quality assurance, and clinical pharmacology. He will report to Roger Tung, Ph.D., Concert’s President and Chief Executive Officer. Concert also announced that Robert Silverman, J.D., Ph.D. has been promoted to Senior Vice President and General Counsel.
