IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 22, 2005--IntraLase Corp. (Nasdaq:ILSE) today announced that Jay T. Holmes has been elected to its board of directors, and Thomas S. Porter has been re-elected. Their terms will expire in 2008. The election was held at the company’s annual meeting of stockholders on July 21, 2005. Holmes, 62, will continue his distinguished 25-year career in the ophthalmic industry as a member of the IntraLase board. From 1999 to 2005, he served on the board of VISX, Incorporated, and from 1986 until 1996, was a director of Bausch & Lomb Incorporated. Previously, he held several senior management positions at Bausch & Lomb Incorporated, the most recent being executive vice president and chief administrative officer.
