SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Index Ventures, together with private investors, has invested an initial funding of $1 million in Acutus Medical, a newly founded medical technology company based in San Diego. The Company is developing an electrophysiological mapping technology to optimise the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias and will use the initial funding to develop prototypes of its novel device.
