IRVING, Texas, July 14 /PRNewswire/ -- HealthCare Purchasing Partners International(TM) (HPPI) announced today that it has signed a five-year extension agreement with its Princeton-based client, the New Jersey Hospital Association, (NJHA) a statewide advocate for the 117 member hospitals and the patients it serves. Financial terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.
HPPI provides group purchasing services to hospitals and other health care organizations across the U.S. NJHA markets the HPPI contract portfolio to its customers in New Jersey and metro New York.
NJHA has been an HPPI client since 1996 under the terms of a 10-year agreement to conclude in 2006. The new agreement will extend the relationship until 2011. NJHA customers represented more than $500 million in purchases in 2003. According to NJHA Senior Vice President William Kennedy, “Our relationship with HPPI enables us to offer our customers access to the industry’s leading contracting organization. NJHA applies our expertise by identifying additional cost savings, performance improvement opportunities and ongoing support so that our customers can optimize the exceptional savings potential available through the HPPI contract portfolio.”
