VIRGINIA BEACH, Va., Aug. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AMERIGROUP Corporation announced today that Carlos A. Ferrer has retired from the Company’s Board of Directors.
Ferrer is a principal in the private equity firm of Ferrer Freeman & Company LLC of Greenwich, Conn. and an early investor in AMERIGROUP. He has served on AMERIGROUP’s Board of Directors since 1996 and is leaving the Board due to the increasing demands of his private equity firm.
