Dr. Palmer has been a practicing upper extremity surgeon for over 30 years and is currently head of the Hand Division at the State University of New York's Department of Orthopedic Surgery in Syracuse. He is the author of numerous scientific publications and books and served as the 52nd president of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH). Dr. Palmer will continue to serve as BME's Medical Director in addition to his role on BME's board of directors.
