BEAVERTON, Ore., Oct. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- CompView Medical, a wholly owned subsidiary of CompView Inc. that provides integrated audio-visual systems for medical environments, today announced the appointment of Terry Trover to product manager. In this new role, he will oversee product development and assist with business development for CompView Medical, helping to spearhead the company’s continued growth and expansion.
CompView Medical has made significant advances in the last year with the successful launch of NuBoom(TM), the next generation of integrated Operating Room (OR) equipment management solution, and continued adoption of its premier product, Digital Operating Control System (DOCS)(TM), a state-of-the-art integrated audio, video, communication and control system designed specifically for the surgical environment that provides centralized control and communication capability. As part of the team, Trover will help the company further capture growth projected within the medical industry by offering integrated operating room solutions unlike any on today’s market.

Trover is a seasoned product manager with more than 14 years of experience at directing business units, particularly in marketing and sales strategy, business development and general management. Prior to joining CompView Medical, Trover served as a senior product manager for Point of Care Systems at Planar Systems, a worldwide leader in flat panel display systems, where he was responsible for the product roadmap and development of a $14 million product line as well as the development of a vertical market strategy for the operating room. During his time at Planar, Trover also held several senior-level management positions including operations manager of its desktop monitor business, director of its sales operations and field technical support, and business development manager of its medical market.
Trover holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from The Citadel and completed post-graduate coursework at the Oregon Graduate Institute.
