COLUMBIA, Md., Dec. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- COLA, a national clinical laboratory accreditation and education provider, announced today the expansion of its educational curricula to provide continuing education credits to eligible Florida medical professionals.
The Board of Clinical Laboratory Personnel, Division of Medical Quality Assurance at the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration, approved COLA as the educational provider for Florida medical professionals. The standard courses, which cover topics including Quality Assessment Basics and advanced clinical laboratory leadership, are available through COLA’s LabUniversity(TM) Web site (http://www.cola.org/), which hosts a number of continuing education programs for physicians and laboratory professionals. In addition, COLA offers other educational programs through conferences and symposiums to Florida healthcare professionals. COLA is approved as a CE provider through August 31, 2006.
