Benedetto brings a strong leadership track record to ClarigoMed, having 33 years of experience in healthcare delivery and management. With expertise earned in both the public and private sectors, Benedetto is known for his continuing success in strategic development, healthcare operations, managed care, change and merger management, and customer-focused, continuous quality improvement.

Board certified in Healthcare Management since 1981, Benedetto is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Health Planning and Administration from Pennsylvania State University in 1972 where he was also a Distinguished Military Graduate of the Air Force ROTC. He earned his Master of Science degree from the University of Southern California in 1978, and he is also a 1991 graduate of the Interagency Institute for Federal Healthcare Executives presented by George Washington University, Washington, D.C.
Prior to joining ClarigoMed, Benedetto was accountable for a budget of $250 million as Director of Imaging Services with Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Other positions include Dental Network of America in Oakbrook, Ill., and TriWest Healthcare Alliance in El Paso, Texas.
Benedetto also completed a distinguished military career, during which he served in numerous leadership and staff assignments with the United States Air Force and the Department of Defense while attaining the rank of Colonel. He has been involved in the formulation of policies and programs concerning wellness and health promotion, public and environmental health, healthcare management systems, telemedicine and infrastructure development. He has served as faculty and guest lecturer for numerous Department of Defense, U.S. Air Force and civilian courses and symposia.
He and his wife, Joan, reside in Batavia, Ill., and are the parents of four grown children and grandparents to five, all of whom reside in Ohio.
