HOUSTON, May 27, 2004 /PRNewswire/ -- CIGNA HealthCare has named Travis H. Brashear vice president of sales for South Texas and Louisiana. Based in Houston, Brashear will oversee CIGNA HealthCare’s sales operations in Houston, San Antonio, Austin, and Louisiana and will direct all activities associated with the growth and retention of managed health care and indemnity business.

Brashear joined the company in May 2002 as the vice president of sales for CIGNA HealthCare in Kansas and Missouri. Before coming to CIGNA, Brashear spent six years in managed care sales.
Mr. Brashear holds a bachelor’s degree and earned a law degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law in Lexington, KY. He is committed to serving the local community and will help continue CIGNA HealthCare of Texas’ mission to support local events and community organizations.
