Cary, NC May 8, 2006: Calvert Holdings, Inc. announced today the formation of a strategic collaboration with Kensington Global Alliances (Chapel Hill, N.C.). According to the terms of this collaboration, Kensington will use its global network to identify promising early-stage human therapeutic compounds that will be developed further by Calvert Research Institute, LLC, a subsidiary of Calvert Holdings, Inc. Calvert Research Institute focuses on the early stages of biotechnology and pharmaceutical compound development, including preclinical evaluations, analytical support, compound manufacture and regulatory support criteria using the company's in house financial and technical resources, and strategic alliances currently in place.
