Boreal Genomics said this week that it has appointed Nitin Sood as CEO and a member of the company's board. Sood joins Boreal from Agilent Technologies' Life Sciences group, where he most recently served as general manager in charge of the automation business. Sood has also held senior management positions at Applied Biosystems, now Life Technologies. He holds an MS in computer science and molecular biology.
