COLUMBIA, S.C., Oct. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- BlueChoice HealthPlan of South Carolina is marketing its 2006 Platinum Advantage product, a new option offering more coverage than original Medicare and including a Medicare Part D drug benefit.
Platinum Advantage is a Medicare-approved PPO plan with a large network of doctors. Platinum Advantage is available to people eligible for Medicare in Anderson, Cherokee, Fairfield, Greenville, Laurens, Lexington, Newberry, Oconee, Pickens, Richland, Saluda, Spartanburg and Union counties in South Carolina.
Applicants can choose from three plans with varying levels of benefits and premiums. All the benefits of original Medicare and more, such as vision, hearing, dental and drug coverage will be included. The drug benefit will offer member copays, no deductible, and a comprehensive list of covered drugs. Enrollees also will benefit from the health and disease management programs available to all BlueChoice HealthPlan enrollees.
