BIT MedTech Announces Departure of CEO

BIT MedTech has announced that CEO, Brian Kelleher, will leave the company to pursue other opportunities. BIT MedTech, based in San Diego and known previously as California MedTech and Paragon Medsystems, was acquired in 2011 by BIT Analytical Instruments. Marius Balger, CEO of BIT Analytical Instruments, will assume Kelleher’s responsibilities for the short term.

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BIT MedTech has announced that its current founder / CEO, Brian Kelleher, will leave the company to pursue other opportunities. In the short term, Marius Balger, CEO of BIT MedTech’s parent company, BIT Analytical Instruments, will assume Kelleher’s responsibilities.

BIT MedTech, founded in 1999 and based in San Diego, California, was known previously as California MedTech and Paragon Medsystems. The company was acquired by BIT in 2011.
