Dr. Jack Lewin, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Cardiovascular Research Foundation, will speak about the Threatened Future of Medical Innovation in the United States on February 7, 2015, at AO North America’s One AO Meeting.
Dr. Lewin will discuss the costs for medical innovation, regulatory scrutiny and time to market disadvantages that have put increasing strains on industry. He will also cover topics such as public and media expectations about patient safety, payment reform, and post approval studies and related costs of innovation over years of care.
