Locke’s clinical laboratory industry experience has spanned over 16 years in a diverse range of senior level business development, operational and financial areas of responsibility. Prior to AEL, Locke was Vice President- U.S. Operations for MDS Laboratories, Inc. where he oversaw the business activities of five MDS-US operations and joint ventures. He also served as Vice President-Southeast Regional Operations and Business Development for Dynacare, Inc. Previously, he was a Vice President with Allied Clinical Laboratories, and subsequently Laboratory Corporation of America for eight years. Throughout his clinical laboratory career Locke has had direct experience in serving the needs of numerous hospital market segment customers in a variety of ways. In addition, he has significant experience understanding the multi-specialty physician and pathologist needs while working with PhyCor and PathGroup, respectively. Locke began his career as a financial auditor with Deloitte, Haskins & Sells.
Locke is a member of the Clinical Laboratory Management Association. He received his Business Administration-Accounting degree from The University of Tennessee-Knoxville, and is a certified public accountant.
