NORWOOD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aspect Medical Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: ASPM) reported today that it filed a shelf registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on August 29, 2007 in connection with the registration for re-sale of an aggregate principal amount of $125 million of 2.50% Convertible Senior Notes due 2014, which the Company issued in a private placement in June 2007, and shares of Aspect Medical Systems common stock, $0.01 par value, which are issuable upon conversion of the notes.
