xMedica LLC Introduces a New Series of Educational Events Featuring Energy Based Devices and Injectable Treatments for Improving Male and Female Intimate Wellness

Groundbreaking CME program series chaired by Leading Dermatologist David J. Goldberg, MD, JD

ATLANTA, Jan. 8, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Intimate health and wellness is among the most dynamic and growing categories in aesthetic medicine today. To address this new arena, leading medical education consortium xMedica LLC is launching a new educational series, Energy Based Devices and Injectable Treatments for Improving Male and Female Sexual Wellness. The goal of this unique one-day conference is to present clinical data in a CME setting for practitioners with a faculty of multi-specialty experts.

Board certified dermatologist and Director of Skin Laser Specialists of NY and NY Dr. David J. Goldberg is the Chair of this new educational series. According to Dr. Goldberg, "We recognized that there was a void in the market for an educational conference focusing on this evolving area of aesthetic medicine. This program brings together a world class faculty from Gynecology, Plastic Surgery, Urology, Urogynecology, and Internal Medicine, to present a balanced overview of the treatments available with training on how to implement these procedures safely into practice."

The program will open with a review of the diverse energy modalities that have evolved as effective treatment options for the most common conditions of concern to patients, including urinary incontinence, atrophic vaginitis, vaginal dryness, and erectile dysfunction. Attendees will have the opportunity to review the literature in the key areas of Radiofrequency, CO2 and Erbium lasers, Shockwave Therapy, High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic technology (HIFEM), PRP and other modalities. The event sponsors include Cutera Inc, BTL Aesthetics, Viveve Medical, Joylux Inc, Zimmer Medical, Hologic, and more.

According to Wendy Lewis, President, Wendy Lewis & Co Ltd, Global Aesthetics Consultancy, "Practitioners want to learn how to effectively incorporate these modalities into their practices in the most sensitive way. Attention will be given to the patient consultation and how to start the conversation on intimate wellness treatments."

This innovative conference is open to physicians of all specialties including dermatologists, gynecologists, urologists, plastic surgeons, cosmetic doctors, family practitioners, as well as physician extenders and practice staff. 8.0 hours of CME are available.
