Envision Pharmaceutical Services (EPS) is a privately held Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) Company, incorporated in the state of Ohio in 2001. EPS was founded with the vision of transforming the PBM industry by creating a business model (EnvisionRx(TM)) that removed all conflicts of interest between a PBM and its clients. EnvisionRx(TM) model is the first in the PBM industry to rely on transparency and full disclosure, ad where all financial transactions and incentives inure to the benefit of plan sponsors and their beneficiaries, EPS management focuses on quality, safety, and the net-net cost for their clients, and not on providing high rebate yields, which are generally predicated on the use of high cost drugs. The uniqueness of EnvisionRx(TM) is that all pharmaceutical manufacturer rebates and administrative fees are calculated and paid at the time the prescription is filled. EPS charges a flat-fee, per employee (including dependents) per month for all services rendered. EPS was selected as a preferred PBM provider for the National Business Coalition on Health and the first privately-held firm to be approved to offer a Medicare drug discount card.
