Ben Venue is cutting jobs but others are hiring! Check it out! (Isn’t it tempting?)
A two-paragraph “update” on the web site of Bedford-based Ben Venue Laboratories Inc. says the company will stop drug production in its oldest manufacturing facility by the end of the year. The statement also said production will end in another of its facilities at that time and that several hundred positions will be eliminated. In an email, Boehringer Ingelheim Corp. spokeswoman Marjorie Moeling said Wednesday that for “proprietary reasons” the company does not disclose in which of its four facilities products are manufactured.
