SANTA CLARA, Calif., July 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Align Technology, Inc. , the inventor of Invisalign(R), a proprietary method of straightening teeth without wires and brackets, today announced the launch of Invisalign branded aligners. Starting August 1, Align will laser-etch the Invisalign logo on almost all aligners shipped to doctors. Imprinting each aligner with the Invisalign brand will allow doctors and patients to easily distinguish between Invisalign aligners and similar-look or substitute products.

The Invisalign logo will be imprinted on a back molar of the aligner so that it will not be visible when patients are wearing the appliance. Fewer than two percent of aligners may not have the Invisalign logo imprinted due to dentition dimensions.
