Sonomed Announces Second Quarter Results Ended May 31, 2006

MONTREAL, July 3 /CNW Telbec/ - Sonomed Inc. formerly Andromed Inc. (TSX Venture: SNM - News) is pleased to report on its business and financial results for the quarter ended May 31, 2006. Sonomed continues to actively pursue its plans to enhance the value of the Company's assets. The Company's activities have been limited since December 2005 to preserve its liquidities and to allow for the search of opportunities to enhance the value of the shares, notably by carrying on a development project pursuant to the agreement with the purchaser, by assessing the possibility of licensing or acquiring new technologies and by evaluating various capital distribution scenarios. The Company will finalize shortly its analysis of the various business opportunities and begin the final phase of its enhancement plan.
