ALKU Releases Life Sciences eBook Targeting New MDR Classifications

Andover, MA- ALKU’s Life Sciences division is excited to announce the release of its first eBook: 5 Important Factors of the New MDR Classification Requirements for Medical Devices. In an effort to better support its customers’ needs and provide industry insight, ALKU wanted to offer additional support through eBooks.

ALKU recently expanded its service areas to include that of Regulatory and Scientific (RegSci) contract services in reaction to increased clients needs including a larger focus within Regulatory and Scientific areas. ALKU can help clients prepare for clinical trials, medical affairs, and regulatory affairs projects. ALKU provides experts who are up to date on the newest guidelines in the life sciences industry and can assume complete responsibility, or simply act, in an advisory capacity.

Within the Medical Device industry, ALKU noticed that many of its clients were dealing with the ongoing gap assessments between the MDD and MDR requirements. Therefore, ALKU’s RegSci team worked in collaboration with one of its Regulatory expert consultants, Sequita Lindsey to produce an eBook surrounding that topic. The eBook provides readers with 5 important factors on what to expect with the new MDR Classification criteria.

"With the regulatory framework shifting to MDR from MDD, it was imperative for ALKU to work with high level professionals, like Sequita Lindsey, to better serve current and future clients,” said Dennis Kapsimalis, Director of Life Sciences Recruiting. “The eBook is an excellent tool we can provide our clients who are or will be going through this transition ahead of the deadline in 2020. We were lucky to have Mrs. Lindsey’s insight on this high demand topic, which will hopefully show our ability to provide skilled experts in this area to future clients."

ALKU hopes this eBook will help to answer questions that current as well as future clients and consultants have regarding MDR.
