CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ARIAD Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: ARIA) announced today the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 16,000,000 shares of its common stock at $3.70 per share. The offering is expected to close on or about October 29, 2010, subject to customary closing conditions. In addition, ARIAD has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 2,400,000 shares of common stock to cover over-allotments, if any. Jefferies & Company, Inc. and Oppenheimer & Co. are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering.
