FOSTER CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Applied Biosystems Group (NYSE: ABI), an Applera Corporation business, today reported net revenues of $501.2 million for the first quarter of fiscal 2008, an increase of approximately 5% over the prior year quarter revenues of $476.3 million. The net effect of foreign currency on net revenues was a favorable impact of approximately 2% compared to the prior year quarter.
